One Week to Workday

Next Monday June 28, LMU will welcome Workday to the bluff and the downtown law campus.

Workday will replace all existing HR and financial systems (including MyTime, online SEA, Concur, Oracle, PeopleAdmin, and more) and consolidate them into a single platform. The new Workday platform will be more transparent and more intuitive – saving time and improving the simplicity of job processes across the university.

LMU has used the same HR and financial software since 1998, and we are inordinately excited to introduce Workday – a modern and efficient platform uniquely built for higher education, and one that suitably reflects LMU’s evolution in becoming a top university.

How Can You Prepare for Workday?

Attend trainings – LMU has a number of live training sessions available, as well as recorded videos and step-by-step reference guides if you prefer to learn at your own pace. Managers are encouraged to attend both supervisor and employee-specific sessions. See the full list of training resources and register for a session here.

Wrap up tasks in Concur and MyTime – Concur and MyTime will go offline at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23.

Concur: If you have open tasks in Concur, please ensure they are completed before the deadline so you don’t have to re-enter them in Workday starting next week.
MyTime: Any time worked prior to June 27, that is not entered in MyTime by 5 p.m. on June 23, will need to be submitted via a paper timesheet if adjustments are needed. Future time off and time entry can be entered in Workday starting Monday, June 28.

Get Duo – If you have not yet enrolled in Duo Authentication, you may do so here. Duo will be required to access Workday.

How Will I Get Started in Workday Next Monday?

You’ll receive an email on Monday morning showing how to access Workday (log-in will live directly on the MyLMU/MyLLS homepage, where you currently access Concur and MyTime).
You’ll also receive a “day one checklist,” recommending some introductory tasks to help familiarize yourself with the Workday platform and get started.
