UO EVENTS
  • In celebration of the movie’s twentieth anniversary, Ducks After Dark is showing Shrek 2 today, 8:00–10:30 p.m. in the EMU Redwood Auditorium.
  • Attend opening night of Antigone—Sophocles’ tale of courage, duty, and the laws of gods and men—on Friday, March 1, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Hope Theatre, Miller Theatre Complex. Free with your student ID. Performances run through Sunday, March 17.
  • Sign up for the UO Esports Riot Rumble on Friday, March 1, 4:00–7:00 p.m. in the EMU Esports Lounge. Team up with two friends to compete in League of Legends, Valorant, and Teamfight Tactics.
  • Join the fun and win a prize at Bingo Night on Monday, March 4, 5:30–7:00 p.m. near the EMU O Desk.
  • Decide who will open for the ASUO spring concert at the inaugural ASUO Battle of the Bands on Friday, March 8, 7:00–10:00 p.m. at WOW Hall in downtown Eugene.
  • Check out free food, games, and student DJ performances at the ASUO Winter Fest on Saturday, March 9, 4:00–8:00 p.m. at McArthur Court.

  • Considering living off campus next year? Check out housing resources from the Basic Needs Program, which also helps students gain access to adequate food, affordable childcare, and other basic needs.
  • The UO Board of Trustees will meet on the Eugene campus March 11–12 in the Ford Alumni Center Ballroom.
TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
  • Consider the challenges of artificial intelligence with a panel of humanities scholars on Friday, March 1, beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Knight Library Browsing Room.
  • Former U.S. Congressman Peter DeFazio will discuss “Democracy: The Challenges Ahead” on Wednesday, March 6, at 5:30 p.m. in the Ford Alumni Center Ballroom.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
  • Come de-stress and make an aromatherapy bag at Freebie Friday on March 1, noon–2:00 p.m. at the EMU O Desk.
  • Practice your kayaking moves and meet other paddlers during kayak pool sessions at the Rec Center on Wednesday, March 6, 7:00–8:30 p.m. Space is limited.
