Notable changes at Smith Student Union |
Support centers temporarily relocate during HVAC work |
Several important student and faculty support centers have relocated for fall term while HVAC work in Smith Memorial Student Union is being done. The work is limited to mechanical areas not accessible to the public, and the student union will remain open with events, retail amenities and most resource centers operating as normal.
The following services have temporarily relocated until early 2026 while upgraded HVAC is installed in their areas. Please check the organizations’ webpages for regular updates on staffing, hours and events.
Disability Resource Center — University Center Building, Suite 400
Office of Academic Innovation — Vanport Building, Suite 560
Student Legal Services — Parkmill Building, Suite 105
Conflict Resolution Program — Cramer Hall, CH346
The Helen Gordon Infants & Tots Program, usually in the Broadway lobby of Smith, will be located in the Helen Gordon Center during the academic year.

Career Week is coming to PSU! |
The University Career Center is launching Career Week, a quarterly series of events designed to connect students, faculty, staff and employers, and strengthen career readiness across campus. Each Career Week will feature career fairs, networking events, employer panels, resume reviews to help students share their skills, connect coursework to careers and build professional networks.
This fall, Career Week will take place Oct. 20–24, with the Fall Career Fair on Monday, Oct. 27. Be on the lookout for the full catalog of events to share with your students and colleagues.
