April 8, 6:30pm EST - Leases, Landlords, and Living Off-Campus - Is your student hoping to move off campus next academic year? This can be an exciting step, and it comes with new responsibilities for students and big questions for families. Join us as we explore resources offered by the Housing and Residence Life team to help students to find available housing and potential roommates, how the Dean of Students office works with students to be good neighbors and to navigate neighborhood concerns, and practical tips for supporting your Eagle's transition to living off campus.

The Inauguration of AU's 16th President

|
This week we are excited to herald the inauguration of President Jonathan Alger, 16th President of American University! Many events are scheduled on campus, highlighted by President Alger's Installation Ceremony on Friday morning and the Inauguration Picnic that afternoon to celebrate with food, games and live performances!

Spring Job & Internship Fair - April 2
|
|
|
|
Each year, the AU Career Center hosts a fall and spring job and internship fair, as well as additional, industry-specific fairs and networking receptions. The Spring Job & Internship Fair will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 1:00-4:00pm, in Bender Arena. AU students and alumni are invited to connect with employers who are actively seeking AU talent for full-time and part-time jobs and internships across all disciplines. Students must register to attend and can participate in preparation events and access important resources in advance of the fair event.

Spring is here and the cherry blossoms are predicted to be in peak bloom this week! Students can enjoy the beautiful flowering trees here on campus and attend the Sakura Taiko Fest, the Kite Festival, the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, and other events around Washington, DC.
