Like all of you, we have been closely following the ever-changing impact of COVID-19 and responding to the obstacles it has presented by finding creative ways to continue to serve our clients and their mobility needs.
Monday evening CMS issued a new ruling streamling regulations for DME, including the use of telehealth. We have been reviewing the final rule in detail to ensure we provide you and our clients solutions that are not only HIPAA-compliant, but also effective options that protect our clients and employees safety.
Later this week, we will be publishing updated evaluation and delivery methods that incorporate the changes from CMS. In addition, our updated evaluation and delivery methods will take into account recent state Medicaid and commercial insurance plans approval of telehealth for mobility evaluations.
