Jenkins Inducted into Hall of Fame

Professor Sarah Howard Jenkins, the Charles C. Baum Distinguished Professor of Law at UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, is a 2017 inductee into the University of Kentucky College of Law Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was established to acknowledge graduates and former faculty of the College whose extraordinary professional success and contributions, profound positive influence on the College of Law, and high degree of character and integrity are recognized by their peers. Inclusion in the Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed by the College of Law. Read the story here.

Trevino Brothers' Projects Highlighted


Identical twins Andrew and Brandon Trevino are both Bowen students, both pursuing concurrent degrees in Public Service from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, and both were highlighted on the same day in separate stories in separate outlets. 
Andrew's capstone work on Arkansas's opioid crisis was featured on KARK. Watch the story here
Brandon's capstone work on the achievement gap for Little Rock's Latino students was featured in The Daily Record. Read the story here.
By the way, Andrew's and Brandon's sister, Audrey ('16), is a Bowen alum.

Courtney Little ('04) has been named the 2018-19 president of the American Subcontractors Association.
Antwan Phillips ('09) received the 2018 Candy Carey Service Beyond Self Award. The award is presented to individuals who have shown an outstanding commitment to his or her community through volunteerism, leadership and active service that goes beyond self. 
Lucy Holifield ('16) has accepted an associate position at Mayer Brown in Chicago, Illinois.
