No Trash Service Delay for Fourth of July

Please follow your normal trash schedule the weeks of June 29 and July 6. Waste Connections offers an auto-dial service to notify customers of any delays or changes in trash pickup days. If you are interested in being notified through this service, you can sign up online at www.wcdenver.com/contact/. Come talk with the Master Association Rangers about the do's and don'ts when encountering wildlife, see mounts and skins, and grab some educational material provided by Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Jefferson County Open Space. Don’t Miss the Inaugural Ken-Caryl Garden Tour July 11

Get ready for a fun and educational new event, the Ken-Caryl Garden Tour, planned for Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. You will get a chance to step into beautiful, interesting gardens and landscapes of Ken-Caryl residents and find out how others work with our unique growing challenges here on the Ranch. Experience a wide diversity of gardens such as a small pocket garden, low-water xeriscape garden, butterfly and hummingbird attractor garden, aeroponic/aquaponic garden, an explosion of annuals, and more. Learn gardening tips from gardeners who have created their own landscapes, and see a demonstration of Container Gardening by Jared’s Nursery. You can also tour the Community Garden next to the Community Center. Thanks to the Ken-Caryl Ranch Foundation for hosting the 2015 Ken-Caryl Garden Tour. The Garden Tour will raise funds to build mobile, raised garden beds for people with limited mobility living in care facilities in the area. Tickets may be purchased in advance June 29-July 10 at the Ranch House or Community Center or at the Community Garden the day of the event. Adults are $18, youth ages 6-15 are $10, and youth 5 and under are free. Cash or checks only.
