We are thrilled to welcome everyone back for the Winter 2025 season! The season is off to a great start, with record-breaking attendance and fantastic feedback from members enjoying their favorite activities and reconnecting with friends.

While winter programming is in full swing, we're already planning for the next season to make sure our community stays active in their favorite programs and activities at NESA!

A BIG Thank You!

We wanted to extend a BIG thank you to the NESA Community and all patrons who visited us during our three day book, puzzle and jewelry sale. We raised $9603.45 - amazing! This is a record breaking sale for NESA!

Attention NESA Volunteers!

We would like to remind all our volunteers to log your hours for 2024, if you have not already done so. Logging your volunteer hours ensures that we can say thank you and recognize all the hard work that you've done for us. This also helps us to apply for funding which grows the volunteer program.

The deadline to log your 2024 volunteer hours is January 31, 2025.

Free tax webinar for adults 65+

Get ready for tax season! If you are 65 years or older, you’re invited to join the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for a free webinar to learn about the payments and tax resources available to you.

The webinar is scheduled for February 12, 2025 at 12:00pm MST.

Topics they will cover include: credits and benefits that you may be eligible for; pension income-splitting; different ways to file your taxes;
and other helpful tips and tricks.

During the webinar, you will also be able to ask questions, and the CRA will answer them live.

Grocery Gift Cards - Get Yours Today!

Did you know that NESA sells grocery gift cards for Sobeys, Safeway, and Save-On Foods? For every grocery card you buy from NESA, our senior's recreation centre earns a small percentage from each card sale. Those funds then go towards our various seniors fundraising initiatives at NESA.
