Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I find myself reflecting on the many reasons we have to be grateful as a university community. It is because of your hard work and passion that we continue to thrive as a community of scholars, leaders and learners. Whether in the classroom, in administrative offices or behind the scenes, your efforts are what enable our university to live out its mission and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. Each of you plays a crucial role in shaping Seton Hall’s future, and for that, I am deeply thankful.
As I have done in previous years, I share this Thanksgiving prayer with you:
Thank you, Father, for having created us and given us to each other in the human family. Thank you for being with us in all our joys and sorrows, for your comfort in our sadness, your companionship in our loneliness. Thank you for yesterday, today, tomorrow and for the whole of our lives. Thank you for friends, for health and for grace. May we live this and everyday conscious of all that has been given to us.
– The Catholic Prayer Book, compiled by Monsignor Michael Buckley
From me and the entire Academic Affairs team, we wish you all a restful and joyful Thanksgiving, filled with time to recharge, reflect and enjoy the company of loved ones.

Archival Setonian Editions Arrive in the Seton Hall Portal Database
The Archives and Special Collections Center now offers additional important, previously unavailable editions of The Setonian. Since the Great Depression and World War II, these copies have been scarce, and at least 30 years of editions have now been digitized. The online collection now includes other historical items that recorded student life at Seton Hall, like a program for the Junior Class play, programs for the Junior Promenade (Class of ’41), and athletic programs. For more information, contact Jacquelyn Deppe, Technical Services Archivist, at (973) 275-2033 or jacquelyn.deppe@shu.edu.
