Dear Colleagues,
I write today to share an important update regarding compensation for the coming year.
Following President Milliken’s announcement of the 2026-27 systemwide salary program, I have approved the implementation of a 4% salary increase for eligible policy-covered staff and academic appointees, effective July 1. Senate faculty will receive a 4% on-scale salary increase, effective October 1.
I am sharing this news at a moment when our campus, like many across the UC system and higher education broadly, is navigating genuine financial pressures. This salary program reflects the University's commitment to those who work every day to deliver on our mission of teaching, research, and public service.
Your work sustains this institution and makes a difference for our students and our campus community, and I am grateful for your continued dedication.
