Please join us for an interactive Group Presentation Session (GPS) to learn about opportunities for U.S. citizens to pursue graduate or professional study, conduct research, or teach English during the 2025-2026 academic year. During the session, hear directly from Fulbright program staff as well as Fulbright Alumni Ambassadors. You will find out about the types of Fulbright awards, application components, and tips. Following the program overview, attendees will enter a breakout room with LMU's Fulbright Program Advisers (Cassidy Alvarado and Lindsay Anderson) to learn more about applying through LMU.

DEADLINE: March 1Atsuhiko Tateuchi Memorial Scholarship
Ina Goodwin Tateuchi and her late husband, Atsuhiko Tateuchi, both came from hard-working families and were taught to appreciate and respect education. They wish to provide $5,000-$10,000 scholarships for students who are residents of the Pacific Rim states (Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington) who demonstrate hard work, dedication and sincerity. Students must have financial need, academic merit, and be of Japanese or other Asian ancestry, including multi-ethnic Asians. Students from middle-income families and students attending college, university, or graduate schools are encouraged to apply. This scholarship will be renewable for up to four years. Read more.

For college graduates who have overcome systemic barriers to achievement and designed for individuals eager to embark on a career in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on advancing civil rights and civil liberties. DEADLINE: March 15Study Abroad in Japan: Bridging Scholarships
The Bridging Project offers scholarships to American undergraduate students participating in study-abroad programs in Japan. Applications are now being accepted from students who will study abroad in Japan beginning in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. Bridging Scholarship recipients receive a stipend of $2,500 (for students on semester-long programs) or $4,500 (for students on academic year programs). Read more.

CGI will select 25 individuals to develop CGI Commitments to Action – new, specific, and measurable projects that advance solutions to critical challenges including the climate crisis, global health inequity, and humanitarian crises. Provides funding of up to $10,000 to young Americans and permanent residents between 18 and 28, who are eager to contribute their skills and passions to a community in need abroad. DEADLINE: February 25California Local News Fellowship
We are seeking early-career digital, print, video, audio, photo, and multimedia journalists for the California Local News Fellowship to work in local newsrooms across the state. Our fellows earn a full-time salary and benefits from the University of California for two years and receive intensive mentoring, training, and support from experienced journalism leaders. This year we also plan to bring on a small number of video fellows to produce stories in partnership with our fellows and newsrooms. Ideal candidates will have strong shooting, editing, and producing skills, along with the ability to create videos in a range of formats. Read more.

Through the institution of this scholarship, Barclays seeks to attract, develop, and retain talented and high-achieving individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including but not limited to students from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, such as Black, Hispanic, Latinx, and Native American students. Students who are selected for the fellowship will be granted up to $15,000 to apply toward their education in addition to their internship offers. April 4-5, Chicago, ilThe DOT summit will equip students and youth leaders nationally to organize and mobilize on their campuses and in their communities to push for policies that support long-term undocumented immigrants. This year, the summit will focus on preparing young leaders to organize and plan actions to advocate for work permits for all undocumented immigrants. Attendees will:
- Meet other students and youth from across the country and collaborate on state and federal mobilization strategies
- Attend training sessions led by immigrant organizers and leaders
- Participate in a rally organized by the Illinois “Work Permits for All” coalition
- The costs of lodging, food, and transportation to/during the summit will be covered up to 100% of the cost for students selected to participate.
