In case you missed the news last month, the GW Cancer Center has released a Spanish version of our Oncology Patient Navigator Training: The Fundamentals!

A Spanish-language guide (PDF) accompanies the training, offering a compact overview of each lesson. It does not replace the course; it is offered as a complement to enrich and reinforce key takeaways. Click the links below to see these new resources or use our promotional toolkit to share them with your partners!

All members of the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation's Programs and Services team recently completed Oncology Patient Navigator Training: The Fundamentals. The photo on the left shows team members displaying their certificates of completion.

Brigette Cole, CEO of NNCCF, explains that when she took the training, it "gave [her] a vision for what true support can look like - someone walking beside you, helping you navigate the most challenging time of your life."

Brigette reports that the navigation training, along with NNCCF tools such as their Golden Guide Navigation Binder -- a resource for families to track schedules, notes and treatment details -- help shape the ways they guide and support families facing childhood cancer.
