In case you missed it, Friday, April 25 was American University Night at Nats Park and the Eagle faithful were treated to a VIP experience. Students, faculty, staff, and neighbors had access to a special ticket deal that included a custom AU Nationals hat, box seats, and postgame fireworks as the Nats took on the New York Mets. President Jonathan Alger and Patriot League champion Head Basketball Coach Duane Simpkins were recognized during the pregame ceremonies. And as tradition would have it, Clawed from AU and Screech from the Nationals linked up for their annual eagle family reunion.

| Announcing AU's New Provost
|
Please join us in congratulating Vicky Wilkins on being named AU's permanent provost and chief academic officer.
You may recognize her name because for nearly a decade—first, as dean of the school of Public Affairs (SPA) and then as acting provost—Vicky has led the university to remarkable accomplishments and skillfully navigated an array of internal and external challenges. Vicky has been a driving force for AU in attaining R1 status, increasing SPA enrollment, and spearheading scholastic thought around public administration and policy. Click the button to learn more about Vicky's career and how her leadership bodes well for the future of AU!
