| New Community Entrance SignsThe first project using bond funds has started! The project is to replace the main entrance signs around Ken-Caryl. The new sign design is shown on the right. The sign at the entrance to the Valley will go in first, and sign installation began last week. The second sign that will be installed is near the intersection of Gore Range Road and Simms by the entrance to the Territory neighborhood. Several other signs will be installed at a later date. | Music a la Mode Event June 10
Join us for the first Music a la Mode concert event of the summer on Wednesday, June 10 from 6-8 p.m. at the Ranch House Pool. Our free Music a la Mode event includes music, face painting, balloon sculptures, jump house and ice cream. Archie’s Dog House will sell hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and soda. The event will feature the Jay and Neil Show and face painters Suzi-Q-Z and Natalie Nalepa.

| Flick & Float EventGrab your noodle and head to the Community Center Pool on Sunday, June 14 at 7:30 p.m. for an evening dip and a fun, family flick! The movie Hook will be shown, and there will be concessions for sale (drinks, candy and snacks) and FREE popcorn! The movie will start at dusk. Admission is free for residents and $3 for non-residents. If you have questions or need more information, contact Melissa Daruna at melissad@kcranch.org.

Open Spots at Equestrian Center Camp this Summer
There are a couple spots open for the second session of the Picnic with the Ponies camp at the Equestrian Center this summer. The two-week session for 5-7 year olds is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, June 16-18 and June 23-25 from noon-2 p.m. each day. During this fun camp, younger children will learn about horses, different aspects of horse care and horseback riding. The cost is $225. Volunteer Opportunities at Fourth of July EventThe Ken-Caryl Community Network (KCCN), formerly the Ken-Caryl Parent Network, is partnering with the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District to bring more fun to the Fourth of July celebration at the Ranch House. The celebration is from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and will include food, pool games, activities, crafts, contests and games in the park to be enjoyed by all!
To make this event great, KCCN is recruiting volunteers. Below are some areas we can use your help:
8:30-10 a.m. – Set Up (6 volunteers)
10-11 a.m. – Supervise Family Kickball Game (2 volunteers)
11-11:30 a.m. – Supervise Potato Sack Race (1 volunteer)
12-3 p.m. – Supervise Yard Games (2 volunteers)
12-3 p.m. – Supervise Kids’ Craft Table (2 volunteers)
2-3 p.m. – Supervise Sand Castle Contest (1 volunteer)
2-3 p.m. – Supervise Kids’ Capture the Flag Game (2 volunteers)
