Employees to Recognize Retiring Colleagues, Celebrate Years of Service

Cypress College faculty and staff will celebrate the end of the school year, and recognize retiring colleagues and coworkers receiving service pins at a luau in the Theater Lobby Wednesday, May 3. There are 26 employees retiring this year and 65 employees being recognized for their years of service at the College.
OUTREACH

18th Annual Parent Night

Cypress College and the Student Support Services Division welcome prospective students and their parents to learn about the College's programs, departments, student life, and campus at Parent Night. Interested high school seniors and their parents will enjoy free refreshments while they visit resource tables to learn about Academic and Career Technical Education programs, financial aid, EOPS/CARE, CalWORKS, DSS, and other services and programs.
It is a chance to demonstrate the ways in which we assist students to successfully pursue and complete their educational goals and career aspirations. Attendance is limited due to theater seating.
When: Thursday, May 4 at 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: Cypress College Campus Theater & outside of the Fine Arts Gallery

Cypress College Jazz Band Concert

Support the Cypress College Music Department
Please join us for an evening of jazz at the kickoff event of the College's Spring Concert Series.
When: Monday, May 8 at 7 p.m.
Where: Cypress College Campus Theater

The Cypress College Media Arts and Design Department is pleased to host the Women in Film Symposium featuring women in various roles in the film industry for a conversation about their career journeys, struggles, and the current state of the industry.
Our student population is very diverse and we hope to inspire more female students to pursue a career in film, animation, and art.
This event is free and open to the public.
When: Wednesday, May 10 at 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

27th Annual Juried Student Exhibition

The Photography Department will hold its annual Juried Student Exhibition featuring works from current Cypress College students starting Wednesday, May 10. Three jurorsformer adjunct photography faculty—will judge the entries. An awards ceremony and reception will be held on the opening day.

Dr. Marshall To Hold Office Hour at Cypress College



North Orange County Community College District Chancellor Dr. Cheryl Marshall will hold an office hour at Cypress College to give students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to ask questions and share and discuss their ideas and concerns. Please feel free to join her.

Cypress College has had a strong dance program for decades, and it's awesome to see the evolution of dance styles and classes offered over time. You can still take a wide variety of dance classes at the College now, including ballet, jazz dance, Afro-Caribbean dance, latin and swing dance, and more!
