Office of Alumni Engagement

We are excited to announce, the Office of Alumni Affairs has become the Office for Alumni Engagement!  What does that mean for you?  In the last few months, we have been working tirelessly to improve and expand the ways to help you stay connected to the Mount. We held our first Alumni Board Retreat, there are new volunteer opportunities at the College, and will be offering new events like the upcoming Women’s Leadership Forum.  Be on the lookout for new and exciting ways to get involved with your alma mater. Save the Date Alumni Weekend: September 25-27, 2020

Start making plans to come back and visit with old friends and favorite faculty members whom you may not have seen since graduation. This year's Alumni Weekend will be held on September 25-27, 2020. 
Alumni Weekend is for all alumni, students, and their families. This year, the Alumni Affairs Office will recognize the anniversary classes of 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015.

Mount Business Students Visit Madison Square Garden

Nearly two dozen Mount Saint Mary College Business majors took the All Access Business Tour of Madison Square Garden in New York City, where they got the inside scoop from the pros. The tour included a walkthrough of the Knicks and Ranger locker rooms, as well as some of the special seating available in the venue. Students also enjoyed a history lesson, complete with a rundown of notable performers and athletes who have graced Madison Square Garden. Read More

Freedom Rider

Braum-Reinitz discussed her time as a Freedom Rider, her motives for joining the civil rights movement, and the various forms of racial segregation that she encountered and worked to eradicate. Growing up in a suburban New York neighborhood, Braum-Reinitz first became aware of racial segregation when her family discussed Jackie Robinson’s debut as the first African American baseball player in the National League. Soon, she began to notice the racial divide between neighborhoods throughout the United States. Read More

Advanced Certificate in Gifted Education

Mount Saint Mary College offers a 4-course, 12-credit graduate program designed to provide certified teachers and administrators with a solid background and expertise in serving the needs of gifted and talented learners. Read More
