Picker Day 2019 was very successful as students found new mediums to use in their art contest submissions at Refindings.
Earth Day Recycled Art Contest
YCSWA sponsors an annual Recycled Art Contest each year to promote recycling and celebrate Earth Day. Students from various high schools in York County submit unique art pieces which are displayed and judged. This year, student work will be on display at York College's Marketview Arts Gallery beginning Sunday, April 14th through Saturday, April 20th. The contest awards event will take place on Thursday, April 18th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This is an exciting event and we welcome everyone to visit the gallery to show their support of the students, the arts, recycling, and Earth Day.

YCSWA offers FREE educational programs throughout the summer. We would love to visit your camp. You can access more information below in regards to available program options.

Yard Waste

York residents can dispose of their yard waste at our facility in the Small Load Drop-off Area, provided that it is free of contaminants, for a small fee.
