IMPACT has a 360° camera, which provides highly immersive 360° images. We recently used it at the CRL retreat to capture a group photo. We also made an interactive tour of the physical therapy labs with 360° images.
360° images and video can be used to explore clinical environments that otherwise might be difficult to tour. For example, this 360° video from UC Davis Children’s Hospital gives the viewer a guided tour of the inside of an ambulance. This 360° video gives pregnant patients an overview of what it will be like to come to the hospital’s labor and delivery facility. Both videos invite viewers to explore the space.
