The Oklahoma Innocence Project (OKIP) is dedicated to identifying and remedying cases of wrongful conviction in Oklahoma. OKIP pursues only cases in which there is credible evidence of factual innocence and provides real-world experience for OCU School of Law students who work under the direction of the clinic's legal director. 

The need for the Oklahoma Innocence Project is immense. Oklahoma ranks #1 in the world for the highest rate of incarceration.

The Oklahoma Innocence Project currently has 808 cases waiting to be reviewed to determine if there is an avenue to prove the client's innocence and over 1,475 requests for assistance. Your gift provides OKIP the resources it needs to review these cases faster.
