Exciting updates are on the way for Radford University’s website |

Add the new branding to your e-mail signature |
|
|
We encourage you to help share our new brand by incorporating it into your Outlook e-mail signature line. An example can be seen in the image with this article.
To add the new logo to your e-mail signature:
|
-
Download the new Radford University logo and save it on your computer in a place you’ll remember.
- Open your Outlook e-mail and click on the gear icon in the top menu.
|
| |
|
- Search for “Email signature” in the search bar.
-
To the right, you will see a text box with your current e-mail signature. Place your cursor on the line after the end of your current signature.
- Scroll to the bottom of the text box and click on the “insert pictures inline” icon (it looks like a frame with mountains and a small sun.)
-
A “File Upload” pop-up will appear. Find the new logo where you saved it on your computer and click “Open.”
- That will place the new logo in your e-mail signature. You will need to resize it by clicking on the image and dragging the circles to fit your signature.
-
To ensure we are meeting accessibility standards, right click on the new logo in your signature and choose, “Add alternate text.” In the alt text box, type “Radford University logo.” Adding alt text to images in e-mails and on websites helps screen-reading tools describe images to visually impaired readers.

Coming to the Stage in November 2023 |
|
|
The Radford University Department of Theatre and Cinema will present, “Cows Don't Fly and Other Known Facts,” adapted by Vivian and Larry Snipes from the books by Paul Brett Johnson on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., in Preston Hall’s Bondurant Auditorium, 915 E. Main St.
Based on the popular children’s book series, “The Cow Who Wouldn’t Come Down,” “The Pig Who Ran a Red Light” and “The Goose Who Went Off in a Huff,” “Cows Don’t Fly” captures the vision of a world where extraordinary things happen on a regular basis. Can Gertrude the Cow play the piano? No problem. Can Miss Rosemary create a homemade cow? Easy as apple pie! Can a lost baby elephant find happiness with a runaway goose?
Tickets are $8 for general admission; $4 for children 12 and under; and $6 for Radford University faculty/staff; and free for Radford University students.
