Study: Latin@/Hispanic Teens and Depression
Researchers at the Duke University School of Nursing are conducting a study to better understand what prevents Latin@/Hispanic teens from getting depression treatment when they need it and what programs healthcare providers can provide to help improve Latin@ teens’ engagement in depression treatment.
You may be eligible for the study if you:
1. Are a healthcare provider who regularly provides clinical care to Latin@/Hispanic adolescents with depression
2. Serve in a role in which you can refer to or provide depression treatment
LatinxEd Semillas Summer Program
Registration is now open for our summer coaching program for rising Latinx 9th-12th graders hosted July 12-30, 2021 in Cary, NC. Students will receive education, high-touch support, and accountability to affirm and nurture their Latinx identities and leadership. The 2021 summer coaching program will be serving Latinx students from Orange and Lee County School Districts. Transportation and meals are provided at no cost to families.
