What is a personal piece of advice that you lean on and could pass on to others?
When in doubt, do the more expensive thing. My business partner/boss early in my journey used to say this all the time. His focus was always on being the best in the eyes of his customers. He insisted that if you invest in that, it will pay dividends down the road. I have followed this advice at every turn.

Best business book you’ve ever read?
The E-Myth changed my life. It’s not the best written, it just hit me at a point in my life where I was struggling with my business. It delivered the big elusive answers. I should put an asterick by elusive... they were elusive to me, now they seem so obvious!
Since you’ve all read that, I will shamelessly promote my book Tenacious that comes out April 7. In my time and entertainment, it has become obvious that every single one of my clients, despite having a great deal of talent, is where they are because they never gave up. My story is the same, with even more tenacity because I have less talent.
Within the book I tell my story, but every chapter has a household name, famous individual giving his thoughts on tenacity as well.

One misstep you took in your business that you could caution others about?
The thing that popped into my head is that I hold onto people long after I realize they aren’t a good fit. I think most of my forum mates would agree they are guilty of this as well.
We care about our people, we don’t want to hurt anyone. But in the end, they hurt us, and worse, their coworkers and the company as a whole.

How to you de-stress after a particularly hard day?
I don’t watch a lot of TV, but when the going gets really tough, my hideaway is a comfort show. What I mean by comfort is a show that I have seen many times, something light, like maybe Big Bang Theory. Not only is it funny, but it brings me back to a happier time.

What’s something about you that would surprise everyone reading this?
Maybe people know, but I guess a lot don’t. My hobby is Music and I’ve taken it to such an extreme that I was actually Brad Paisley’s opening act on his European tour in 2024. I’ve released almost 50 songs across multiple albums in country and Christmas. And I performed in front of over 10,000 people many times. I love every bit of it... from writing to producing to performing.

What EO benefit has been most valuable to you?
The best part of EO for me is forum and really nothing else is close. Those guys are my board of directors, my buddies, my friends. My business is better for knowing them, more importantly I am better for knowing them.

Any exciting plans for 2026?
Yes! I am incredibly excited about releasing my book on April 7. I spent seven years writing it, no ghost rider, no AI, just me in whatever free time I had. Every chapter has an incredible guest speaking about how tenacity has made a difference in their life. Scott Hamilton in chapter 1, athletes, national TV personalities and radio personalities, two Hall of Fame rock stars, and two Hall of Fame country stars. Forefront signed me and Simon and Schuster is doing distribution. They say I’ve got a chance at one of the big best seller lists. It’s really been a labor of love and something I hope people will get a lot out of. It’s technically a self-help book, but it’s written to be entertaining. It never tells you what to do, it just shows you what others have done and lets you make the decision.
