| Construction of Community Center Tennis Courts 1 and 2Demolition of tennis courts 1 and 2 at the Community Center began yesterday. The Metropolitan District is replacing these courts with new post-tension courts. The new courts will be available for tennis in June.

| New Playground at Dakota LodgeA new playground will be installed at Dakota Lodge this spring. Demolition of the old playground will begin March 6, and then the site will be prepared for the new equipment. Throughout construction, a small section of the parking lot will be used for staging equipment. The new playground is scheduled to open in May. | Trash Service on Regular Schedule This Week
Ken-Caryl Ranch's trash provider, Waste Connections, does NOT close for President's Day so trash service is on the regular schedule this week.

| Stage 1 Fire Restrictions
The Jefferson County Sheriff enacted Stage 1 Fire Restrictions for areas of Unincorporated Jefferson County. The restrictions apply to the areas west of Highway 93, west of C-470, south and west of the intersection of CO 121 (Wadsworth) and C470, and west of the Platte River.

| Master Association Board Election UnderwayThere are two seats open on the Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association Board. You can read the candidates’ bios and their answers to some pertinent election questions by clicking on the link below. For the first time, voting instructions were sent electronically via email from Vote HOA to those households and businesses with an email address in our accounting system. A postcard from Vote HOA was mailed to those households and businesses that don't have an email address on file. If you didn't receive an email or postcard, call the Ranch House at 303-979-1876. While you are encouraged to vote online, you can make an appointment to vote in person at the Ranch House with a paper ballot. Please call 303-979-1876 to make an appointment to vote in person. The election will close March 7 at 5 p.m., and the winners will be announced later that night.

Informational Community Meeting – Ball Fields at Bradford K-8 North

Please join representatives from Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District and Jefferson County Schools for an informational meeting regarding proposed ball fields at the Bradford K-8 North School (formerly called Bradford Intermediate). Childcare will be available. This will serve as a special meeting of the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District Board. An agenda will be available online prior to the meeting. A project fact sheet and meeting summary will be available online the day after the meeting.
