Celebrate Juneteenth through art and food |
|
|
The 2025 Juneteenth celebrations, themed "Building Together," will offer an immersive experience across multiple venues from June 4 to July 19, 2025, celebrating African culture, food, and art.
Juneteenth celebrates the date when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, finally learned that they were free. More than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation went into effect, and two months after the end of the U.S. Civil War, Texas slaves discovered they were freed on June 19, 1865.

Refrigerator cleaning
Remember to clean out all perishables and unwanted items from the refrigerators on all floors before the last Sunday of each month, which is when they are deep cleaned. Our day porters will not discard any items while cleaning.

Recycled water
We're aware of the odor in the recycled water, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Redwood City, who manages this utility, requires the use of recycled water for non-drinking purposes on our campus. We have escalated this issue to Public Works, and will be meeting with them to assess the situation. For more details, please refer to their FAQ.
