LUCILLE CROWELL MEMORIAL SERVICE
A memorial service for Lucille Crowell will be held Friday, April 28 at 2pm. Lucille died on March 23.
SUNDAY
QUILT AUCTION 
The Mission Sewing group is going to raffle off a beautiful quilt and will be selling tickets in the entry way the 1st three Sundays in May. We plan to use the money to buy supplies for our quilt making. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The drawing will be on Sunday, May 21st.
SUNDAY ADULT EDUCATION
Join us for a new Sunday Adult Education series, now through May 21st: “We Have to Confess: How the Reformers Defined the Gospel” led by Pastor Tom.

FAMILY LIVING IN WEST PARKING LOT
There will be a family living/camping in our west parking lot location beginning immediately - Elizabeth and her middle school aged daughter (Ariana). They have a small lap dog. This is coordinated through St. Vincent de Paul and they will be with us for up to 90 days. They will have their own facilities. Please help them to feel welcome.
NEW WEBSITE
Did you know we launched a new website? Deanna and her team at UplinkSpyder have been working on it for many months and launched it just before Easter. Take a look and if you’re so inclined, provide her with feedback and suggestions for additions. Visit the website.

Bunco Party! - Ladies, young girls and friends of Bethesda! Our Cinco de Mayo Bunco Party is Thursday, May 4th, in the Parish Hall from 6:00 - 9:00pm. A sign-up sheet will be in the narthex so we know how many to plan for. Bring a favorite finger food if you like and join us for a fun evening. Childcare will be available! We just need to know how many.

Ways You Can Help This Week
RECEPTION HELP NEEDED
Greet and guide visitors and members, light computer work, answer phones and help with the occasional mailing project. Training is available and experience is not necessary. Help as often as you'd like. Various shifts are available. Contact Stephanie Kinnaman for more information. 
BETHEL BOUTIQUE
Volunteers are needed for May dates. Sign up at the CONNECT board for a 1-3 hour shift. Current needs: Jeans for boys and girls (especially larger sizes). Click here to learn more.
YOUTH-FOR-HIRE
Yard work, housework, you name it! Suggested donation $10/hr/person paid directly to Bethesda for trip fees. If you need help, but $10/hr is unfeasible, please call us anyway.
