Filling out the Bike School is just the first step of your Onboarding process.
This processed has changed since last summer. We used the new system for onboarding for winter and there were a few challenges. We hope that with better communication and some of the issues being fixed this will be smoother for summer.
We will be giving you some more detailed information as we get closer to summer but this is an over view of the process. Please ensure you complete these tasks in a timely manner to keep the onboarding process moving.
1. Fill out the return staff survey
This helps us with our hiring and know how many job to post
2. Please look out for a text from Olivia at Vailresorts.
This is not spam please respond with your intent to return. This will start your onboarding process with the Vail Resorts system
3. Do your Pre boarding tasks
These will be emailed to you, please follow the link.
This is a couple of steps including submitting a criminal record check or law violation question
Every employee is now required to do a Criminal Record Check every 3 years. If you did one in the winter you will not need to do another one. You will have to answer the law violation question.
4. Do your Onboarding tasks
Again this will be emailed to you.
Includes signing/re signing your winter waiver and other required notices, enrolling for benefits if eligible, completing your lift training etc.
