In this session, PEER co-directors Abbey Loehr and Erin Henrick led participants in a discussion about designing RPP structures that facilitate diverse, cross-organizational teams who equally engage throughout all phases of a research cycle.
Participants helped PEER's facilitators brainstorm the best ways to ensure there is a commitment to the co-construction of research while also taking into account the inherent tension between taking the time and steps necessary to build trust within the partnership and responding quickly to changing contexts at the same time.
Key Learning:
There is wide variability in how RPPs are structured and organized. Much can be learned from the different structures and can be applied and woven into existing organizations.
