| Students Explore International Trade at Port Newark
|
The Office of International Programs and Prospanica’s campus chapter organized a field trip to Port Newark Container Terminal (PNCT), a major East Coast maritime hub. Attendees received a detailed tour from James (Jim) Pelliccio, PNCT's President and CEO, who shared insights into port operations, safety protocols, and future expansion. Pelliccio also highlighted key leadership principles: focusing on core strengths, embracing innovation, and prioritizing sustainability for long-term success. The trip provided a valuable, firsthand look into the complex world of international trade and was a remarkable learning experience for all participants.
