Happy Summer Learning Week & One City Day!
San Francisco is coming together for One City Day, a citywide day of service led by Mayor Daniel Lurie and First Lady Becca Prowda, on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
This year, DCYF has combined the national Summer Learning Week celebration with One City Day, bringing together summer learning, service, leadership, and community engagement under the theme, Learn, Lead, Belong in San Francisco. As part of the celebration, 70 DCYF-funded K-8 Out of School Time programs will host events across the city, showcasing the impact of summer learning in our city. We are excited to celebrate these events, and will share photos from each one on the Summer Learning Week page of the SFGov website.

Our415 Data Verification and Updating Request for Information Now Open
| On June 30, 2026, DCYF released the Our415 Data Verification & Updating Request for Information (RFI).
This RFI is for information and planning purposes only. It is intended to help DCYF gather ideas and feedback from the field and will not result in a contract award or provide any preference in a future funding processes.
DCYF is seeking input from organizations, consultants, technology vendors, community-based organizations, and other entities with experience in data management, directory services, verification, and outreach. Through this RFI, DCYF hopes to better understand potential approaches, workflows, tools, and cost models that could support an ongoing data verification and update system for Our415.
Our415 is San Francisco's public directory of programs, services, and opportunities for children, youth, young adults, and families. As the platform continues to grow, maintaining accurate, trustworthy, and up-to-date information is critical to ensuring it remains a valuable resource for the community.
