💪 LIVESTRONG at the YMCA
LIVESTRONG is a free, 12-week program designed to help cancer survivors improve strength, flexibility, energy and confidence through safe, supportive exercise. Upcoming sessions begin Aug. 31 at Duncan-Arvada YMCA and Sept. 1 at Littleton Family YMCA.
🥗 Diabetes Prevention Program
Take steps toward preventing type 2 diabetes with the Y's year-long Diabetes Prevention Program. Participants receive support through 26 sessions focused on healthy eating, physical activity and sustainable lifestyle changes. Virtual and in-person options are available, in English and Spanish, and the program has earned Full Plus Recognition from the CDC.
❤️ Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring
If you have high blood pressure, the Y's 4-month Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program can help you learn how to track your blood pressure, make healthier choices and stay accountable with support from a Healthy Heart Ambassador. The program is offered at no cost, with virtual and in-person options available.
