AWG Executive Director Stepping Down
Sarah Green will be stepping down from her role as AWG Executive Director in May. Sarah has been serving the organization since August 2009. She has decided to move to Truckee in order to be closer to her aging mother. Sarah states, "I'm sad to be leaving Alpine County. It’s such a special area. I know that AWG has great community support and involvement. I’m excited for where the organization is heading."
AWG is now hiring for the position of Executive Director. The ED is responsible for overall management and administration of the organization, including strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, organizational development, staff supervision and program operations. The ED currently supervises three staff members and one consultant and reports to the Board of Directors. Job announcement coming soon.
