Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

The Ranch House will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26 for the Thanksgiving Holiday and will re-open the next day on Friday, Nov. 27 at 8 a.m.
Please plan accordingly.
Reminder: NO Guests at Ranch House
Many of you may have visitors for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. We should remind you that, due to Covid restrictions, and to keep staff and homeowners safe and healthy, no guests are allowed at the Ranch House until further notice. Please make a note of this, as it may affect your plans for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday periods. We thank all of you for working together to keep measures in place so we can continue to have the facility open and accessible to our members.
Holiday Trash Collection
There will be no delay in trash collection for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Trash will be collected on Tuesday, Nov. 24which is also a recycling day.

A Day of Holiday Magic at RVR

This year we are finding new and creative ways to celebrate the holidays at RVR. We are delighted to share that we are working hard to create a magical and special day for our community this holiday season!

Tom's Door Holiday Giving Program

Tom's Door and the Family Resource Center of the Roaring Fork School District in conjunction with River Valley Ranch are again partnering for our 5th annual holiday gift drive for Carbondale Seniors and local High School teens in need.

Tom's Door asks that you return the recipient tag and key along with the gift card into the door's mail slot no later than Friday, Dec. 12 so they can distribute gifts in a timely fashion.

Reminders & Highlights

2021 Budget Process
Here are some important recent and upcoming milestones in the RVR budget process:
  • Wednesday, Nov. 18, At the November 18 monthly Board meeting, the Board approved the 2021  Budget. Click here to view it. 

  • SundayDec. 6, an email will be sent to property owners with the link to the voting ballot. Your vote will be due by December 16.

  • WednesdayDec. 16, at the regularly scheduled monthly Board meeting we will provide results of the ballot vote, and the RVRMA 2021 budget will be formally ratified.

    If you have any feedback on the budget or the budget process, please share it with General Manager Sterling Page at gm@rvrcommunity.com. He’ll pass your comments along to the Board, or respond to you directly.

HOA Dues on Auto Pay

Are you tired of writing and mailing checks every month for your HOA dues? We encourage you to sign up for RVR auto-pay! Auto-payments run on the 10th of each month and will include your dues and irrigation fees. Your auto-pay will remain in effect until we receive written notification that you would like to cancel or if your house sells. Your data will be encrypted and secured upon submission.

Fitness Programming

Thanksgiving  Meditation
Cari Schuman will be offering a special Thanksgiving meditation on Thursday, Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. via Zoom

A moving meditation for balance, inner peace and gratitude. You will need a chair that allows you to sit tall and straight in a comfortable position with a straight spine.
You will want to be warm, so participants should also have a blanket available.

Master Swim
Join Dave Clark for the second session of Master Swim. This class is offered every Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. from Dec. 2 through Dec. 23.


There is a limit of four swimmers per class. Please sign up in advance at the Ranch House Front Desk.
