UO EVENTS
  • Join Ducks After Dark tonight for the movie Bottoms, 8:00–10:30 p.m. in the EMU Redwood Auditorium. Free with your UO ID!
  • Get free pizza and salad at the Student Tuition Forum on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 6:00–7:30 p.m. in the 145/146 EMU Crater Lake Rooms. Learn how tuition is set and offer feedback on where your dollars are spent. 
NOTEWORTHY
  • Good news! The UO and GTFF have reached a tentative agreement, avoiding a graduate employee strike.
  • Resources are available on campus for those affected by the ice storm. Stay informed about closures and safety by visiting the UO Alerts blog.
  • Crumbl Cookies has opened a temporary pop-up location in the EMU near the Fishbowl. They’ll be open Monday–Friday, 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
  • DuckWeb will be down for maintenance from Friday evening through Sunday morning, Jan. 19–21.
  • Looking for an independent, immersive study abroad experience? Apply for a GEO exchange program by Friday, Feb. 1.
  • The UO Board of Trustees is seeking applicants to fill two student trustee positions–one undergraduate and one graduate. Apply by Monday, Feb. 5.
  • Interested in a summer internship but need financial assistance? Check out the Portland Internship Experience for opportunities to stay in Oregon, work for a nonprofit, and earn a $5,000 stipend. Apply by Monday, Feb. 12.
