  • DuckWeb will be down for maintenance Friday evening through Saturday night, April 12–13.
  • The Wayne Morse Scholars program for public affairs and community engagement is now accepting applications. The early decision application deadline is Monday, April 15.
  • If you hold a student organization officer or leadership position and are a graduate of winter 2024, spring 2024, summer 2024, or fall 2024, you are eligible to receive free Student Organization Leader Cords. Sign up by Monday, July 1.
  • Can you spot a phishing email? UO's 15-minute training helps you beat the fraudsters. All UO community members are also enrolled in our simulated email phishing educational campaigns.

Spring Career Readiness Week is Friday, April 12, through Friday, April 19. The time you invest now can pay off in your future career, so check it out! A few highlights include:
  • Learn the basics of interviewing and how to stand out as a candidate Friday, April 12, 10:00–11:00 a.m., in 50P Tykeson Hall.
  • Network with tech employers at Your Future in Tech + Connect on Tuesday, April 16, 4:00–6:30 p.m. in the Tykeson Hall Commons.
  • Explore the Spring Career and Internship Expo in the EMU Ballroom on Thursday, April 18, noon–4:00 p.m. to make connections, meet employers, and get your LinkedIn headshot taken.
  • Drop in for Practice Interview Day with real employers on Friday, April 19, noon–4:00 p.m. in the Tykeson Hall Commons.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS
  • Test your sexual health knowledge for a chance to win free prizes at Sexy Sexual Health Trivia with samantha bitty on Wednesday, April 17, 7:30–9:00 p.m. in 156 Straub Hall.
  • You’re not on your own, kid. Check out Swiftie Sessions, drop-in support centering on Taylor Swift’s music, its themes—and of course friendship bracelets—on Tuesdays, noon–1:00 p.m. at Counseling Services.
  • The LGBTQ+ support group is a safe and confidential drop-in space to talk, explore, and simply be in your identity. The group meets on Mondays, 3:30–4:45 p.m. Locations vary.
  • Kick your socials up a notch on Earth Day with a hike to the famously photogenic Tamolitch Falls and Blue Pool. Sign up now to participate in the hike on Saturday, April 20, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Cost is $15.
  • Need help with food security or other basic needs? Learn about resources at the Food Security Fair on Tuesday, April 16, noon–5:00 p.m. in EMU Crater Lake North.
