Just like that, the Winter 2024 season is over! A BIG thank you to all of our friends and members of the NESA Community who supported us during another busy and action-packed season! As Easter quickly approaches, we hope you and your families enjoy a relaxing and peaceful weekend, spending this time doing what makes you happy!
While we don't have a lot of new news to share with you since our last email, we wanted to remind you about some upcoming important dates and about a few things happening around NESA. 
Important Dates to Note
Friday, March 29/24 (Good Friday) - NESA will be closed.
Monday, April 1/24 (Easter Monday) - NESA will be closed.
Bottle Drive at the McClure United Church (New venue for April only!) - April 3/24 (8:30am-12pm)

Garden and Plant Sale NESA's Garden Club is hosting its Annual Plant and Garden Sale - May 17/24 10:00am-3:00pm at Steele Heights. 
 Spring 2024 Season at NESA
We are pleased to announce that the Spring 2024 Program Guide is available online and via hardcopy pickup at the McClure United Church. 
Spring 2024 Registration starts Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 8:30am.
Spring 2024 Season Schedule: April 15 to June 24, 2024 (10 weeks).
Please Note: The NESA online course catalog will be updated with the Spring 2024 courses on Monday, April 1, 2024.
 The NESA Winter 2024 Session Evaluation and Survey is ready!
The Winter 2024 Season at NESA is over and we would like to hear about your experiences! Please complete this brief survey for as many of the programs you have taken this season! Responses are anonymous unless you choose to enter the survey contest - see details at the bottom of this survey. Thank you for your participation! Click here to complete the survey. 
 Do you need help with your Income Tax Filing?
Do you want to have your taxes done for free? The NESA Volunteer Tax Program is on until the end of April and we have lots of available appointments!
This is a partnership between NESA and the CRA in order to provide free income tax service to our members. To be eligible, you must be a senior with an income that is less than $35,000 for one person and $45,000 for two people. 
You are welcome to refer your friends and family to the program too!

If you qualify and would like to access the program, please give us a call at 780-496-6969 and leave a message. A volunteer will be in touch with you to set up an appointment.
NESA and Northgate Cafe Service Proposal: Call to Food Service Vendors
The North Edmonton Seniors Association is currently looking for a cafe operator at the Northgate Lions Centre. Please click here to view the proposal and learn more about the opportunity.

Grocery Gift Cards - Get yours today!
Did you know that NESA sells grocery gift cards for Sobeys, Safeway, and Save-On Foods? For every grocery card you buy from NESA, our seniors recreation centre earns a small percentage from each card sale. Those funds then go towards our various seniors fundraising initiatives.
