The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering (AE School) is ranked No. 2 in the nation (tie) for its graduate aerospace engineering program and No. 1 for publicly-funded institutions, according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges rankings. This marks the second consecutive year that the AE School has held the No. 2 spot.

| Georgia Tech Retains Spot on Forbes’ New Ivies List |
Georgia Tech has again been recognized among Forbes’ New Ivies, highlighting its favorable standing among executives and hiring managers.
The survey of more than 380 C-suite leaders, vice presidents, and other managers revealed the 10 public and private colleges that "are attracting the best and the brightest” and graduating students who are “outpacing most Ivy Leaguers in the eyes of employers."

Winners announced for the 10th Annual Three Minute Thesis Competition |
|

|
The 10th annual Georgia Tech Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition took place on April 4, where 12 scholars presented their groundbreaking research in just three minutes using a language appropriate for a non-specialist audience. AE Ph.D. student Marc Koerschner won the coveted People's Choice award, which was rewarded with a $500 research travel grant.
“I’m honored to win this award, and incredibly thankful for the opportunity to present my work and represent the Aerospace Systems Design Lab, as well as the Aerospace Department as a whole.”
