Brainfuse: Ignite Your Mind
The Longview Public Library is excited to announce the launch of Brainfuse - on demand, anytime, anywhere eLearning for all ages and levels. Brainfuse HelpNow offers a personalized homework help in core subjects (math, reading, writing, science, and social studies), including test preparation for the SAT, GED, U.S. citizenship test, and more! You can get live one-on-one assistance, feedback on writing assignments, send questions anytime, and even form study groups.
Access Brainfuse through the library website and use your library card number to log in. Longview students can use their student ecards (student ID numbers) to log in.
Brainfuse is available to the Longview Public Library thanks to the generous support of the Longview Library Foundation.

December Crafts

Pick up a craft packet with the supplies you need in Library Drive-Thru, and learn how to make the craft on our YouTube page! 
In addition to new monthly kids and teen/adult crafts, we will have new weekly preschool/toddler crafts the first two weeks of December.

Simon & Schuster's Books Like Us Winter 2021

Winter Reading

From January 1st to January 31st, we will be participating in Beanstack's Fourth Annual Winter Reading Challenge, "Books Like Us," sponsored by Simon & Schuster. We challenge our patrons to read at least 5 books during the month and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site at longviewlibrary.beanstack.org
Not only can readers of all ages win a prize, but you can help the library win a book collection or virtural author visit. Pre-registration for Winter Reading begins December 14!

We're taking a break from our regular Facebook story times after December 11, but look out for special story time events on our Facebook page!
Regular Wednesday through Friday story times will resume January 20!

As part of our efforts to safely expand library service, we are expanding our phone hours beginning Monday, December 7. Call 360.442.5300 with questions and requests Monday - Friday 10 AM - 4 PM

Holiday Closures

Library Drive-Thru and Phone Hours will be closed:

Friday, December 25 - Saturday, December 26 for Christmas
Friday, January 1 - Saturday, January 2 for New Year
