EVENT SPOTLIGHTNSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program on Sept. 7 at 12:30 p.m.
NSF GRFP provides funding to students in STEM disciplines who are or will be pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees. The five-year fellowship includes three years of financial support including an annual stipend of $37,000 and an education allowance of $12,000. Register.

This webinar will showcase fellowships, similar to Fulbright, that fund postgraduate experiences abroad. All majors and academic levels are welcome, but most fellowships require a bachelor's degree by the start of the program. Register.

**New Award** Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award to Switzerland- Campus Deadline: October 1! This 10-month postgrad fellowship provides a living stipend as well as travel expenses. ETAs– generally future or beginning teachers – gain experience in language teaching methods and, at the same time, improve their own knowledge of a foreign language. ETAs will assist permanent teaching staff generally at a secondary school, such as Grammar schools, Specialist vocational schools or Federal Vocational Baccalaureate schools. Applicants can apply for one of three Swiss language regions: French, German, or Italian - and should indicate that in their "Statement of Grant Purpose." Open to U.S. citizens who will have at least a bachelor's degree by September 2023. Contact Dr. Cassidy Alvarado as soon as possible to learn more.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program- Deadline: October 6. Offers up to $8,000 for undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding to participate in study and intern abroad programs. The scholarship can be used for program fees, airfare, and more. For applicants whose in-person programs or internships start between December 1, 2022, to October 31, 2023. This cycle encompasses Winter or January term 2023, Spring 2023, Maymester 2023, Summer 2023, Fall 2023, and Academic Year 2023-2024 programs.

Brooke Owens Fellowship- Deadline: October 10. The fellowship matches 40 extraordinary women or gender-minority students per year with purpose-driven, paid internships at leading aviation and space companies and organizations and with senior and executive-level mentors. Eligibility: you are an undergraduate student as of today. You identify as a woman or as a member of another gender-minority group. You are available for full-time employment in the summer of 2023. You are interested in pursuing a career in aerospace (any aspect of the field).

Gates Cambridge Scholarship- Deadline: October 12 for U.S. applicants, December for international students. Gates offer 80 full-cost scholarships each year to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge. Scholarship America Dream Award- Deadline: October 15. Scholarship America’s Dream Award scholarships of $5,000-$15,000 will be awarded to undergraduate students selected from across the nation. The scholarships will be renewable and growing in amount each year, allowing students to receive aid throughout their college career. Open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and DACA students.

The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans- Deadline: October 28. Each year, Soros invests in the graduate education of 30 New Americans—immigrants and children of immigrants—who are poised to make significant contributions to US society, culture or their academic field. Each Fellow receives up to $90,000 in financial support for graduate study and they join a lifelong community of New American Fellows. To be eligible, your birth parents must have both been born outside of the US as non-US citizens, and both parents must not have been eligible for US citizenship at the time of their births. Govern For America Fellowship- Deadline: October 28. Govern For America places diverse, dynamic recent graduates in key roles in government across the nation for two years of accelerated growth. To be considered for the 2023 Fellowship Cohort, applicants must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, DACA Recipient, or have US Sponsorship for 2 years; and, be on track to earn an undergraduate or master’s degree by June 2023. Fellows are government employees and the range of salaries is broad, depending on the position and the state.

National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science (GEM) Fellowship Program- Priority Deadline: October 1! Preparing technical leaders for advanced careers in industry, academia, and government agencies by identifying and selecting highly qualified students to complete a program of STEM graduate study and industry internships.GEM’s principal activity is the provision of graduate fellowships at the MS and PhD levels coupled with paid summer internships. GEM Fellows typically receive full tuition as well as a generous living stipend.

Hertz Graduate Fellowship- Deadline: October 28. We look to support the graduate education of the most promising technical talent, the PhD-directed effort of the young men and women who can be expected to have the greatest impact on the application of the physical sciences to human problems during the next half-century. Fellows receive funding to attend PhD programs at over 40 participating U.S. research universities. Benefits include: full tuition equivalent for up to five years, $34,000 per academic year stipend, Additional stipend if coordinated with other major fellowships, $5,000 annual dependent childcare stipend, and networking offered as part of a lifelong Hertz Community.

NASP-ERT Minority Scholarship Program (NASP-ERT MSP)- Deadline: October 28. The Program seeks to lower financial barriers to training and to highlight the accomplishments of promising future professionals. It advances NASP's commitment to diversity in the field of school psychology by supporting culturally diverse graduate students who will eventually provide school-based services to diverse student populations. Upon receipt of the award, the Program works to mentor and encourage each scholar as they progress from graduate student to practicing school psychologist. The Program annually awards scholarships of $5,000 each to selected scholars.

Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellowship (AEF) Program- Deadline: November 17. A unique opportunity for accomplished K-12 educators in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to serve in the national education arena. Fellows spend eleven months working in Federal agencies or in U.S. Congressional offices, applying their extensive knowledge and classroom experiences to national education programs and/or education policy efforts.
