CATCH launches in Detroit and New York YMCAs!
CATCH will be impacting children in Detroit, an area with 39% increased rates of overweight/obesity, via our involvement with their YMCAs. See a number of profiles from Detroit staff, such as Melissa Opsahl quoted below, on our blog. 
The staff of the New York City YMCAs also shared their insights on their first ever CATCH training with us after Peter Cribb led them in their first implementation in November."There are so many options in this CATCH activity box, it’s crazy." said Brianne Barry, a group leader at Staten Island YMCA. "We all opened it and thought, “wow this is fantastic.” 
Los Fresnos, TX: A Case Study on the effectiveness of CATCH
We have brought you a lot of news out of Los Fresnos, TX in 2015, and that's because we are darn proud of what is happening there. One of the first school systems to utilize non-profit CATCH Global Foundation resources to secure grant funding from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Los Fresnos has seen measurable impacts on their PE classes, school environment, and community involvement in health.

Enroll in the CATCH Open Academy for 2016
This summer CATCH will be holding two open training academies in Austin, TX:
  • K-8 Implementation & Coordination Kit Training July 18-20
  • CATCH Kids Club Afterschool Implementation Training July 25-27
