CHSAA Cancels Spring Sports Season

On April 21, CHSAA formally announced its decision to cancel the spring sports season. Athletic Director Brian Bonn shared a message especially for senior student-athletes:
"Our hearts are breaking with you at the loss of your final spring season. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for everything you have poured into our programs during your time at Valor. Thank you for your leadership, dedication and commitment toward excellence in all the things that you do. Thank you for teaching your teammates how to lead, through the good times as well as the challenging ones. You may not have left your legacy on the field this season, but you have forever etched your name in the hallways of our school. We love you. #ValorFamily"

#stayservetransform

Together with Valor Boys Basketball and family friends, the Muckel family organized a fundraiser to purchase snacks for staff at Littleton Adventist, Skyridge, and Childrens Hospitals. Together the group raised over $1,000, and Valor students Taylor and Kyle ordered the food online. Treats were delivered to doctors, nurses, techs and staff who have been so busy they often don't have time to eat.
