Team Irish Award winners honored at Saturday's game

At last Saturday's football game, the Warren Golf Course Professional Maintenance Staff was honored as a 2019 Presidential Team Irish Award winner. The staff served as a liaison between the University and the USGA leading up to the 2019 U.S. Senior Open. (More...)

Learn hands-only CPR

The American Heart Association will teach hands-only CPR to interested Notre Dame faculty and staff on Friday, Oct. 25. Registration is not required. Attend this free 30-minute training any time between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the Fischer Faculty/Staff Lot on Bulla Road. Attendees will learn a skill that can save lives. Everyone who gets trained will take home a free CPR Anytime Kit to share this important life-saving method with others. (More...)

Notre Dame ceases to burn coal, a year ahead of schedule  

The University ceased burning coal at its power plant Monday (Oct. 14). President Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., announced in the fall of 2015 the ambitious goal of discontinuing the use of coal by the end of 2020, and cutting the University’s carbon footprint in half by 2030. Both goals have been achieved ahead of their target dates. (More...)
