President Rev. Robert A. Dowd, C.S.C., presided and preached at a Mass in response to a special message published last month by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, in which the bishops expressed opposition to “the indiscriminate mass deportation of people” from the US, while recognizing the need for immigration reform.
