Easter Egg Hunt March 29

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Annual Easter Egg Hunt is always a hit with our residents! This year we are enhancing the event scheduled for Sunday, March 29 for even more fun! We have changed the time to 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to help accommodate our younger egg hunters. Pat Lynch with Re/Max Professionals will be back to raffle off some great prizes. The Ken-Caryl Parent Network will host a snack table, and we encourage families to bring a picnic lunch or brunch to enjoy during or after the event. The Little Gym will be there with exciting activities and program information. We will have a designated area for photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, so please bring your own camera. This year we’ll have even more eggs! The egg hunts are divided by age group, and each age group has their own time. Please keep an eye out for a walking, talking carrot and KCRMD Staff who will kick off each egg hunt, and don't forget your own Easter basket!

Date: Sunday, March 29
Time: 11 a.m. -1 p.m.
Location: Ranch House Park
Easter Egg Hunts will begin at
11:30 a.m. for children ages 0-2
11:45 a.m. for children ages 2-4
12:00 p.m. for children ages 5-7
12:15 p.m. for children ages 8 and up

Garden Tour Planned for July

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Garden Tour Committee is planning a tour of residents’ gardens (tentative date of July 11), and the committee is looking for gardens to be part of the tour. The ideal garden would showcase all flowers or a combination of flowers/vegetables and should be aesthetically pleasing. Themed gardens such as rock or water gardens could also be of interest to tour participants. It is a great chance to share the beauty you have created with other residents, and you will inspire more gardens in the area with your participation. The tour will be a fundraiser to build portable, wheeled garden beds for rehab/nursing facilities. If you have such a garden or know of one in Ken-Caryl, please email Krista Rahe at krahe@raheservices.com with your name, address, contact information and a photo of the garden.

Ken-Caryl Parent Network Events

Guys' Night: Basketball - Back by popular demand! Thursday, March 19, 7:30-10 p.m. at Lilley Gulch Rec Center, 6147 S Holland Way in Littleton. Come join the KCPN Guys for a game of pickup basketball. They have rented the gym for an hour, and then they will head over to Rox after working up a sweat. If you just want to join them at Rox, they should be heading over there around 9 p.m. Please show up around 7:30 p.m. at Lilley Gulch because they only have the gym from 7:45-9 p.m. Participants will split the cost of the gym rental ($30).
New Member Coffee: Friday, April 10, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Ranch House. If you are new to KCPN or just want to connect with new and "old" members, come to the next New Member Coffee!
