New Online Study for NET Patients Focuses on Quality of Life
You can help the medical community learn more about living with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) in this new, online study being conducted by NET expert Emily Bergsland, MD, and her colleagues at the University of California, San Francisco. Share your experience regarding symptoms, lifestyle, quality of life, and well-being. The information you provide will be used to identify areas that need improvement for NET patients, as well as creating strategies for improving quality of life, patient education, and access to care.
Who Can Participate? We are looking for people with:
  • A diagnosis of an advanced neuroendocrine tumor that is either metastatic (spread to other organs) or cannot be removed by surgery
  • Access to an Internet-supported device
  • Age 18 years or older
  • This study is open for people living around the world, but you must read English to complete the surveys
How the Study Works:
  • All study activities can be done at home or wherever you have access to the Internet (on a computer, tablet, phone, etc.).
  • You will be sent a series of surveys every 6 to 12 months for up to 3 years.
  • Each series of surveys takes a few hours to complete. You can begin each survey, stop when you wish, and resume where you left off – all at your convenience. You can also skip questions entirely if you wish.
eNET is a web-based study powered by the Eureka Research Platform. All study activities will be completed through the UCSF Eureka Research website.
