On December 9th, the 2024 Leadership Summit will bring together a powerful lineup of Oregon’s elected, business, and community leaders to address the challenges and opportunities shaping our state’s future.
Last year, we focused on revitalizing Portland's Central City. For this year's Summit, we’ll shift our regional focus to the Southern Willamette Valley, where Oregon’s research universities are playing a pivotal role in driving the state's economic competitiveness.
In keeping with this year's theme, Advancing World-Class Ambitions, Dr. Jayathi Murthy, President of Oregon State University, and Dr. Karl Scholz, President of the University of Oregon will take the stage to discuss current contributions and opportunities to create more robust innovation in this part of the state.
The Southern Willamette Valley is seeing transformative investments and are poised to play a central role in driving regional economic growth.
