IRW recently received MP3s with old airchecks. When IRW looked through the list, we noticed this:
"WNAP David Letterman audition tape (Sept 1969)"
While IRW wondered if we had a never discovered aircheck, an Internet search revealed this YouTube link.

Whitewater Broadcasting's AC/WLPK (1580am, Connersville) and translator W295BT (106.9fm, Connersville) move studio locations from Central Avenue in Connersville to North Perkins Street in Rushville.

Tribune Broadcasting's FOX affiliate WXIN-TV (Channel 59, Indianapolis) welcomes two new reporters: Mike Sullivan and Colby Thelen. Mr. Sullivan joins "FOX 59" from WKEF-TV/WRGT-TV in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Thelen joins "Fox 59" from WCBD-TV in Charleston, South Carolina.

Alpha Media's Urban/WGZB (96.5fm, Lanesville) night jock Big Homie exits. Mr. Homie joined "B96.5" in 2013 from sister WHXT in Columbia, South Carolina.

July 8: In 2001, former WLYV (1450am, Fort Wayne) President/GM Herbert Weber dies. Age 75. In 2002, WXLW (950am, Indianapolis) flips formats from religion to Sports (ESPN).
July 9: In 2004, Indianapolis' WGRL (93.9fm) relaunches with a religious format as "The Song."
July 10: In 1983, Farm Director Jay Gould left WOWO Radio. Mr. Gould passed away in 1984.
July 14: In 1994, WKPW (90.7fm, Knightstown) increased power to 4,400 watts.
