In over twenty years of writing IRW, I've found there's no easy way to write a sudden story like this.
Today, Charly Butcher died. He was 61.
A brief recap of Mr. Butcher's broadcasting career includes joining Carmel High School's WHJE (91.3fm, Carmel) in high school. Later, he worked in Lafayette for WAZY (96.5fm), then in Fort Wayne at WMEE (97.3fm, Fort Wayne) where he joined Tony Richards for the highly successful "Those Two Guys in the Morning" and WOWO, where he hosted Fort Wayne's Morning News since the mid 2000s.
Mr. Butcher is survived by his wonderful wife Sarah and three children. Once I know more about arrangements, I'll send another IRW.
