UPDATE

Friday, August 6, 2021
As a reminder, Fenwick will return to full capacity, five days per week with no e-learning options for this school year.
New Vaccination and Mask Requirements
  • Fenwick High School will follow the latest state mandate from Gov. J.B. Pritzker. As such, masks are required by all students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Fenwick for all indoor activities regardless of vaccination status.
  • As of today, Fenwick will not require that all students, faculty and staff be fully vaccinated.
Please note, Fenwick had previously announced that vaccinated community members were not required to wear masks, but un-vaccinated community members were required to wear masks.
On Wednesday, August 4, Governor J.B. Pritzker issued an Executive Order that now mandates masks be worn indoors by all teachers, staff, students, and visitors of K – 12 schools, regardless of vaccination status.

Fenwick High School is obligated to, and will, follow this directive.

Fenwick also continues to encourage vaccinations
for all eligible individuals.
As of this morning, a total of 586 Fenwick students, faculty and staff have notified the nurses that they have been vaccinated.  That is still well below 50% of a total school population of approximately 1260.  Nearly all faculty and staff are vaccinated and about 1/3 of students report being vaccinated.  If you have been vaccinated, please inform the nurses per the instructions below.
Parents, if your daughter or son has received the COVID-19 vaccine, please upload the student's CDC card or an immunization record from their doctor as soon as possible to the Magnus system or email it to healthoffice@fenwickfriars.com.

The reopening task force is meeting again on Monday evening. Fenwick will communicate any updates to the above requirements.

Fenwick High School is owned and sponsored by the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Albert the Great headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.
