A Conversation with Justice Elena Kagan  

As part of the 2023-24 Notre Dame Forum, the Law School will host a conversation between U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan and G. Marcus Cole, the Joseph A. Matson Dean of the Law School. The free but ticketed event takes place from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at the Leighton Concert Hall in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.

Research 

ND tops $200 million in annual research funding for third straight year  

Notre Dame received nearly $216 million in new research award funding in fiscal year 2023. This total includes 824 separate awards, the largest number the University has ever received.

Presidents Address to the Faculty  

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, President Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., dedicated his annual faculty address to celebrating the University’s admission into the Association of American Universities and marking the launch of a new strategic framework that will guide Notre Dame over the next decade.
