We were led in worship through song Sunday by our wonderful choir, handbells, and musicians. Thank you to all who worked tirelessly to present a meaningful and beautiful Christmas worship experience.
Music Director David White,  Musicians Lisa McLain, Rebecca Olack, and Joe Williams, Soloists Charles Brister and Renee Henry, Choir, Handbells, Children's Choir, Sound Technician Terrence Geno, Readers John and Dana Watson, Shelley Powers, Bert Felder, John Reed, Linda Irby, Kyle Miller, Rebecca Olack,Rev. Dawn Douglas Flowers and Rev. Haven Boyd all gifted us with a truly special presentation.

Help us provide a welcoming and meaningful worship experience this Christmas season at Parkway Hills. Your presence is part of how we share and celebrate the story of Emmanuel, God With Us, with those who will gather in worship with us.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion will be offerred at 4:00 and 6:00 pm with 4:00 being livestreamed and providing a nursery. Sunday, December 29th we will continue to celebrate Christmas with a carols and lessons service and coffee and donuts! Please note that Sunday morning small groups will not meet December 29th.  
We still need communion servers for our 4:00 pm Christmas Eve service as well as readers for our December 29th Carols and Lessons.  Click here, see which slot works best for you, and sign up to aid us with this special season within the life of our church.
Christmas Season Office Hours:
PHUMC office will close Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and will close at 1:00 pm
Thursday, 12/26; Monday, 12/30; Tuesday, 12/31 and Thursday 1/2.
Join us in the Garden Room for a Sunday School Christmas Party for the kids on December 22 starting at 9:30 a.m. We will celebrate the Christmas season with games and activities for the kids. A light breakfast will be provided. Children 3 years old - 5th grade welcome to attend. Bring peanut butter for MadCAAP. The child that brings the most peanut butter will receive a prize!
Following Sunday School, join us for fellowship time in the worship center at 10:30 a.m. and worship at 10:45 for our last Sunday of Advent.

Parkway Hills was planning a celebration dinner for the academic success that East Flora Elementary School achieved this semester. However, due to a recent fire at the Crestview apartment complex which affected eight East Flora families, the school requested an alternate plan, that the celebration banquet feed those families involved in the fire. 
PHUMC volunteers helped serve the meal Saturday, December 14. Thanks to your generous giving, PHUMC was able to provide the meal. 
We always need volunteers to aid with our kids ministry.
